The hallways in the east wing of 200 Daniels Way in Bloomington, IN are punctuated by semi-random bands of blue linoleum floor tiles. Tesserae is an extension of one of these bands up the walls and over the existing features on either side of the hallway.

Grey Area is a black-and-white image of the lobby at 501 Profile Parkway in Bloomington, IN, painted at life-size directly on wall of the lobby itself.

2009. Public notice board, large-format digital prints, black construction paper, found and altered advertisements. Collaboration with Yeju Choi and various unknown contributors.

2009. Latex paint on panel, steel hardware, cut-vinyl sign. 

Custodial was a painting/sculpture of a door installed in the hallway outside the gallery in 1156 Chapel Street in New Haven, CT. The piece was built as a half-inch-thick panel and applied to the plane of the wall to emulate the visible portions of the existing doors in the building.

2009. Bermuda sod installed in elevator in collaboration with Justin Kuhn.

Fountain consisted of a one-week absence of the water fountain on the main floor of 1156 Chapel Street in New Haven, CT. Its alcove was covered over in drywall, sanded and painted to seamlessly continue the plane of the wall. After one week, the piece was dismantled and the alcove restored to its previous state.

2005. Unique silver gelatin prints.

Made by flash-exposing a sheet of photosensitive paper submerged in a tray of water. The shape of the water surface at the moment of the flash creates the print.

2005. Powdered pigment screenprint on stretched paper.

Titanium white pigment has retroreflective properties, that is, it reflects more light back in the direction of the light source than does paper. Which material will appear brighter depends on the positions of the light and of the viewer.
