2009. Public notice board with digitally printed and collaged elements. Collaboration with Yeju Choi.
The piece consists of two sections. The right section is the result of a collaboration with Yeju Choi, inspired by her piece Flyers, created in the fall of 2007. It consists of a digitally printed photographic backdrop that contains the text and information; over this are pinned several black paper cutouts.
The left section is my continuation of the work in response to the collaboration with Yeju. It consists of several photographed, scanned and overprinted, invented, cut, and otherwise manipulated pieces made from and interspersed with the previously existing contents of the bulletin board.
Both sections continued to function as public notice boards. Various anonymous participants continued to add to and modify the works throughout their two-week run.
